Coffee With A Cop In Limerick

The Limerick Township police will be available to chat with residents at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12.

LIMERICK, PA β€”Limerick Township police officers invite the community to stop by the Royersford Starbucks at 10:30 a.m, Monday, Dec. 12, for β€œCoffee with a Cop.”

Residents are invited to talk with police about an issue they are concerned about.

The Starbucks at 100 Diamond Way plan to share the secrets of making good coffee.

Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative to break barriers between police officers and citizens.

In a short time, police and residents get an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss mutual goals.

The idea was launched in 2011 in Hawthorne, Calif., when police were looking for ways to better serve citizens.
