Damian Petaccio, Beloved Royersford Man, Dies At 41
Damian Petaccio, 41, "one of the most pro-Royersford" people, was known for his work with Spring-Ford Rotary and Sacred Heart Church.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- Damian M. Petaccio, 41, of Royersford, died suddenly Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Spring City. He was the husband of Andrea (Wanner) Petaccio. They would have been married 15 years in the fall.

Damian was born in Norristown, the youngest of three sons to James F. and H. Patricia (Nash) Petaccio. He was a 1995 graduate of St. Pius X High School, where he played soccer and tennis. He graduated Northampton Community College's Funeral Service Ed. Program in 1998 and embarked on a 20 year career for Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home Inc. of Phoenixville and Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home of Royersford where he was the current supervisor.
In addition to being a dedicated professional to the families he served, he took great pride in his community service. He was faithful member of Sacred Heart Church, where among his duties were serving on Pastoral Council, Ushering and "The Scrounger" for the Parish Fair. He also coached CYO Soccer at Sacred Heart for 15 years.

He was also an active Rotarian with the Spring-Ford Rotary. He was a Past President and currently serving as Secretary. He also was the Event Coordinator for Rotary's Wine and Beer Festival, launched last September in Limerick. He also ran for several years a Helicopter Golf Tournament which benefitted Make A Wish.
In addition to his wife and parents are brothers: James F. Petaccio II and Bill Petaccio of Royersford; Nephew, Nicholas J. Petaccio and Niece, Marcella Rita Kucera; two aunts: Janet Burns, wife of the late Joseph, of Royersford and Judy Petaccio of Trappe; and several cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lewis Rd. and Walnut Street, Royersford, PA. Calling time will be from 8:00 till 10:45 am. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spring-Ford Rotary, PO Box 124, Royersford, PA 19468.
