Evergreen Road Shut Down Begins Monday
Motorists should plan for delays as work gets underway to make the area more flood resistant.
LIMERICK, PA β The closure of Evergreen Road in Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove will begin on Monday and continue throughout the week as construction activities get underway.
The work is part of a larger effort across the greater Philadelphia area to improve stormwater management, particularly on roads that have flooded in the numerous severe weather events of recent months and years.
In the Limerick area, Evergreen Road will be shut down and detoured around the clock between Linfield Road and Lightcap Road.

The detour will take motorists to Rupert Road, High Street, Pleasantview Road, and Linfield Road as stormwater drainages are replaced.
The closure will be in place around the clock from Monday, March 18, through Friday, March 22.
