Lead Pipe Check In Limerick Ongoing
American Water workers will be stopping by residents' homes to check if the water pipes are made of lead.
LIMERICK, PAโ Pennsylvania American Water will be in Limerick the week of Dec. 19 to assess the type of material used in the townshipโs pipes.
Water service lines connect the water main to your home or property and can be made of copper, plastic, galvanized steel, or lead.
Contractors will be going door-to-door to collect information on the pipes.

The township requests that residents answer a few questions if they contact you or come to your door.
All Pennsylvania American Water representatives will carry official company photos and I.D. badges and wear logoed, high-visibility vests.
