The Limerick Fire Company and Linfield Company are pleased to announce with the upcoming merger and both agencies uniting to become the Limerick Fire Department they will be conducting their annual fund drive jointly this year. Limerick Township residents and businesses will receive a single solicitation from the Limerick Fire Department. This solicitation should be arriving in local mailboxes later this week.
We are also excited to announce that there is an option to donate online this year through the website at: http://www.limerickfirerescue.org/content/donate/. Donors can also see a copy of the official letter being sent out to Limerick Township businesses and residents.
Linfield Fire Company President Rich Flynn noted, “Being able to offer an online option to donate makes it easier for residents to support the fire department which we appreciate”. These funds are used to supplement the department’s and vital to many facets of the organization. Limerick Fire Company President Tom Walter said, “The annual support from the Limerick community allows us to provide first class fire protection services to the township”.
