Longtime Spring City Man, 'Dear Friend,' Dies At 63

Kenneth Hines loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and his family, especially his children, 22 grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

SPRING CITY, PA -- Kenneth Himes Jr., age 63, husband of Deborah (Natale) Himes, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in Phoenixville Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 15, 1955 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Kenneth and Norma (Miller) Himes.

Kenneth worked for many years for Pikeland Construction and recently retired from Miller Restoration. In his spare time Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in his garden; but most of all he loved spending time with his family and loving grandchildren. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, greatโ€‘grandfather, and dear friend to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his loving wife, Kenneth is survived by his seven daughters, Tammy (wife of Andrew Bernat, granddaughters Sara Rose and Leah Catherine), Brooke (wife of Daniel Free, grandchildren Ryleigh Grace and Daniel Robert Free Jr), Heather, Shanna, Michelle, Melissa, and Ashley; one sister, Lorra Himes; one brother, Eugene Kevin Himes, Sr.; Kenneth is also survived by his 22 grandchildren, 1 greatโ€‘grandchild, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Ryan Himes, and his nephew, Eugene Kevin Himes, Jr.

Kenneth had many wonderful traveling experiences and great times with his loving brother and sister-in-law Andrew Natale Jr and Kathleen Natale.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Campbellโ€‘Ennisโ€‘Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Cynthia L. Krommes. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden Of Memories. Friends will be received from 7:00 pm โ€‘ 9:00 pm on Thursday evening, September 6, 2018 , and on Friday morning September 7, 2018 from 9โ€‘10 am, at Campbellโ€‘Ennisโ€‘Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc.
