Ginny M. Prevost, of Harleysville (Pennsylvania), passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 15, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Roger L. Prevost, with whom she shared over 40 years of marriage.

Born in Camden, NJ in 1955, she was a daughter of the late William J. & Mary E. (Halbe) Spengel.

Ginny will be best remembered as a loving wife and mother to her two children and a dear friend to many. She had a passion for helping others, a genuine sense of compassion towards those who surrounded her, and an amazing heart that touched many. Her kindness, generosity and leadership are what made her excel as a School Counselor in her 23 years of service at Royersford Elementary School. Ginny would want nothing more than for her legacy of kindness to live on in the daily actions of those who surrounded her.

Ginny loved to travel the world and experience new countries and cultures alongside her husband, Roger. She was fortunate enough to make many fond memories all throughout America, Europe, and the Middle East, with her most recent trip to Dubai and Egypt in July (where she and Roger celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary). Ginnyโ€™s interests always revolved around ensuring the happiness and wellbeing of others. She loved cooking, entertaining, and being in the company of her beloved family and friends. Ginny was always there to listen, offer some heartfelt advice, or just be a shoulder to lean on (and sometimes cry on). From her daily life, to her work, to her home and relationships, Ginny was an excellent organizer and planner. She was always there to lend a hand in any way she could in order to keep everything running smoothly. She will be greatly missed not only by her family and friends, but by the whole community which she impacted so deeply with her caring and generous nature.

In addition to her husband Roger, Ginny is survived by her son, Ryan Prevost (and his wife Lauren); her daughter, Jillian Pandor (and her husband Yahyah); her brother, Bill Spengel (and his wife Sandy); and her sisters, Terry Belk (and her husband Donald), and Marie Robinson (and her husband Keith). She was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Frances Chuba (survived by her husband Bill) in 2007, as well as her mother Mary Spengel in 2010 and father William Spengel in 2018.

There will be a viewing held on Sunday, September 23, after 3:00 p.m. and until 5:00 p.m. in the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale.

Relatives and friends are also invited to attend a viewing on Monday, September 24 after 9:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus R.C. Church, 700 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, with her Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
