'Loving And Gifted': Junior At Spring-Ford HS Passes Away At 17

ROYERSFORD, PA — The local community is in mourning after a teenager and student at Spring-Ford Area High School passed away.

Beth Parsons, 17, was a junior at the school.

According to her obituary, Beth enjoyed forensic television shows and hoped to become a forensic pathologist when she was older.

Friends and family described her as "loving and giving."

More than $2,000 has been raised through dozens of donations as of Monday afternoon.

Family and friends are invited to Beth's memorial service on Thursday, June 13 at 2 p.m. at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home in Royersford.

Beth Audrina Parsons, 17, of Royersford passed away on Saturday June 8, 2019 at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 13, 2001 in Dover New Hampshire, Beth was the daughter of the Jonathan Russell and Tamara Parsons.

Beth was a Junior at Spring Ford High School and enjoyed art and science. In her spare time she enjoyed watching forensic television shows and aspired to be a Forensic Pathologist. Beth was a loving and giving person and donated through the Gift of Life to help others that were in need. Beth was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and a dear friend to those who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Beth is survived by one sister, Alexis Russell; her grandmother Elizabeth Russell; Maternal grandfather Robert Parsons and loving companion Coleman Wissert. Beth was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service for Beth on Thursday June 13, 2019 at 2:00PM at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford PA 19468. Family and friends will be received from 1:00-2:00PM prior to the service. Burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford PA.
