Route 422 To Get Pothole Repairs This Week

As the freeze and thaw cycle continues, havoc has been wreaked on rutted and sometimes dangerous local roadways.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA โ€” As the freeze and thaw cycle continues in Montgomery County and pothole issues plague the region, dozens of state highways around the region will be repaired.

Crews will be out 65 highways in the five-county region around Philadelphia, including eight in Montgomery County:

  • U.S. 422, West Pottsgrove, Lower Pottsgrove Limerick, Upper Providence, Lower Providence, and Upper Merion
  • Route 63 (Sumneytown Pike), Marlborough
  • Philmont Avenue/ Red Lion Road, Lower Moreland
  • Susquehanna Road, Abington and Upper Dublin
  • Byberry Road, Bryn Athyn and Hatboro
  • Tennis Avenue, Ambler
  • Edge Hill Road/Willow Grove Avenue, Springfield, Abington, and Cheltenham
  • Evans Road, Lower Gwynedd

Repairs could lead to slowdowns and lane restrictions as crews patch the potholes.

Work will continue through the end of the week.
