According to a press release from the Royersford Borough Office of Emergency Management, Mayor John Guest has declared a Disaster Emergency for the Borough of Royersford.  Trash pickup on the north side of the borough has been rescheduled to Thursday instead of Tuesday.  The Borough Council meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 30, has been rescheduled to Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7:15pm. Emergency Management is continuing to monitor the situation with the Schuylkill River and on 1st Avenue.  Borough officials are encouraging residents along 1st Avenue to voluntarily evacuate. All emergency routes are also active.
