Royersford Mother, Animal Lover Dies At 35: 'An Honest Soul'
"She was an honest soul and never held a grudge. She made everyone she knew a better person."

ROYERSFORD, PA โ Chelsea Nicole Maddox, 35, wife of Jeffrey Maddox, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday evening, December 5, 2017 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born on April 12, 1982 in Mobile, Alabama, she was a daughter of Marianna F. (Kowalski) and her husband Elliot Greer, of Vero Beach, FL and George E. Lods and his wife Cecelia Jo, of Picayune, Mississippi.
A graduate of Washington Township High School in Sewell, NJ, Chelsea attended the University of South Alabama. She had been employed as a pet care provider for Pampered Petz Pet Sitting and Dog Walking.

Chelsea loved all animals, especially her two cats, was very involved in her children's lives and enjoyed arts and crafts, often enjoying working with her children on school projects. She was always the life of the party. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. Chelsea loved and gave her all without judgment and was always willing to forgive. She was an honest soul and never held a grudge. She made everyone she knew a better person.
The captain of the ship, Chelsea's life revolved around her family. She was an amazing wife and mother who was the rock and the glue of the family. She was a nurturer, always making sure that her family was emotionally happy and healthy and well taken care of. As cliche as it might sound, she and Jeff completed each other and their love for one another was unconditional.

In addition to her husband, parents and step-parents, Chelsea is survived by her children: Seth Maddox and Kendall Vrocher; siblings: Devin Lods, of Houston, TX, Ross Schoen, of Greenville, NC, Brooke Schoen, of Greenville, NC, Jake Lods, of Roseville, CA and Austin Lods, of Picayune, MS; step-sister: Becky Carpenter, of Picayune, MS; maternal grandfather: John Kowalski and his wife Vicki, of St. Louis, MO; and maternal grandmother: Launa Kowalski, of Johns Creek, GA. She was preceded in death by step-sister, Robin Barber.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 6:30 pm. Friends will be received from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chelsea's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org.
