Royersford Woman, 'Loved Life,' Passes At 34

ROYERSFORD, PA — Valerie L. Mitchell, age 34, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 in the Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health. Born on June 9, 1984 in Ridgecrest, CA, she was a twin daughter of Larry and Karen (Pearl) Mitchell, of California City, CA.

Valerie was a 2002 graduate of the Mojave High School in Mojave, CA. She graduated from Penn State University in May 2018 with a degree in Accounting, and worked as an Accountant for Presidio Network Solutions. She had a large heart, and she loved life, her family and large group of friends, and to laugh. She was a volunteer for ACCT Philly, and would foster animals. Valerie enjoyed golfing and riding ATVs, traveling to the beach and Lake Mead with her family, and shooting pool in a league.

In addition to her parents, Val is survived by four siblings, Christopher Mitchell of San Diego, CA, Amber Mitchell of Paramus, NJ, Anna, wife of Paul Armes of Lake Isabella, CA, and her twin-sister Brandi, wife of Damen Jones of California City, CA; seven nieces and nephews, Giavonni, Raona, Damen II, and Leland Jones and Maximus, Alexandra, and Maddoxx Armes; maternal grandmother, Raona, wife of the late Duane Pearl and paternal grandmother, Anita, wife of the late Jack Mitchell; several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins; and her extended Pennsylvania family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her celebration of life at The Barn at Providence Forge, 217 Providence Forge Road, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to ACCT Philly, Attn: Development, P.O. Box 46865, Philadelphia, PA 19160.
