Rt. 724 Restricted For Utility Work In Chesco Next Week

EAST VINCENT TOWNSHIP, PA β€” A section of Rt. 724 in East Vincent Township will see a single lane closure with flagging next week to allow for roadway reconstruction, PennDOT announced today.

Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) will have a lane shut down between Stony Run Road and Pikeland Avenue on Monday, May 3, through Friday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The reconstruction is related to utility improvements, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather-dependent.
