Spring City Man Charged With Stalking Ex-Girlfriend: Police

Keith Dewalt is charged with stalking an ex-girlfriend for three months after a breakup, police said.

SPRING CITY, PA —A 49-year-old Spring City man was arrested Wednesday on charges of stalking his ex-girlfriend by putting a tracking device in her vehicle for three months.

Keith Dewalt is free on $20,000 bail after being arraigned before District Judge John Hipple on charges of stalking, criminal use of a computer and related charges.

The victim, who was not identified, contacted North Coventry police to report that her vehicle was being tracked by an ex-boyfriend identified as Keith Dewalt.

Subsequently, police said, they found two GPS tracking devices in the vehicle’s frame.

The victim said she did not recognize the devices or give anyone authorization to place the trackers onto the vehicle.

Police said the tracking device was purchased and used by the defendant Dewalt.

According to police, Dewalt tracked the victim's vehicle for approximately three months after her relationship with Dewalt had ended.
