Star Student: Madison Excels In Kindness In Spring-Ford

LIMERICK-POYERSFORD-SPRING CITY, PA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Jennifer Johnson, who nominated her daughter, Madison, a ninth grader at Spring-Ford High School.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

"Madison is an amazing kid. She is a track and field runner, the ambassador for the western Montgomery, career and technical Institute, manager for the Springford ice hockey team, model, and overall amandine student. She’s one of the hardest working kids I know and would do anything for anyone."

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

No matter what obstacles Madison faces in life she always manages to overcome them, and supersede them.
