βOur E-Recycling Event is really addressing a need in our communities for more convenient and cost-effective options for residents to responsibly recycle their unwanted electronics and small appliances,β Muth said in a statement. βThis is a great opportunity for residents to not only recycle their electronics, but also to help other local families by bringing donations for the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry.β
The event will be co-hosted by Muthβs office, the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry and The Junkluggers, which bills itself as a company offering eco-friendly junk removal.

Recycling old electronic items and household appliances can often be difficult as many local private trash companies and municipal haulers don't always remove these types of items during regular track pickups.
For those looking to make donations during the event, Muthβs office said the food pantry will be collecting items such as canned pasta, canned meats, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, paper towels, baby shampoo, baby soap and laundry detergent.
Residents of the 44th Senatorial District who wish to participate in the event must register ahead of time by visiting this web link.
