Masked Man Wielding Hammer Smashes His Way Into Montco Liquor Store: Police

The liquor bandit used the hammer to smash the front glass door of the Fine Wine and Good Spirits store, state police said.

SCHWENKSVILLE, PA β€” A masked man used a hammer to smash his way into the Fine Wine and Good Spirits liquor store in Schwenksville and steal alcohol, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The incident occurred at the Main Street store at around 3:25 a.m. on Aug. 1.

The man, whose mask was green, first tried to force his way into the basement door before going up to the front door and smashing the glass, police said.

Once inside, he grabbed a blue bottle of liquor β€” "possibly vodka," authorities said β€” and fled the scene to the west.

The man has brown hair and a brown beard with a mustache. He also wore yellow and black gloves and a dark blue T-shirt with brown work-style boots.
