PA State Trooper Stationed In Montco Had Porn On Work Computer: AG
Criminal charges have been filed against a local state trooper who the attorney general said had "thousands" of adult pornographic files.
SCHWENKSVILLE, PA β A Montgomery County-based Pennsylvania State Trooper faces criminal charges after authorities said he kept thousands of pornographic images on his work computer.
Stephen M. Kamnik, 38, of Havertown, who was stationed at Troop K in Schwenksville, faces two counts: felony unauthorized use of a computer, and misdemeanor misapplication of entrusted property.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office said that Kamnik's files included some A.I.-generated "deepfakes," or fake images and videos created using another person's photograph.

Kamnik has been a trooper since 2011.
He was suspended without pay and surrendered on Wednesday, before being released on $1,000 bail.
