Two NJ Men Caught Stealing Meds From Skippack Pharmacy Overnight: PD

The men waited until just after 2 a.m. to make their move, authorities said.

SKIPPACK, PA β€” Two men from New Jersey were arrested after burglarizing a pharmacy in Montgomery County in the overnight hours, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 4 at 2:17 a.m. at the Skippack Pharmacy located on 4118 Skippack Pike.

Benjamin Nadler of Princeton, New Jersey and Fernando Azcona of South Brunswick, New Jersey used a hammer to break into the pharmacy, which sent an alert to the camera monitored by the owner, officials said.

The owner called police, who arrived to find a vehicle with its lights on in the adjacent parking lot. They blocked that vehicle in, and moments later, arrested the first suspect as he walked toward the car, they said.

The second suspect ran but was caught shortly thereafter, according to authorities.

Both men were found with sealed prescription bottles and medications, police said.

They were booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Preliminary hearings are forthcoming.
