Uber Driver From Trappe Raped Villanova Student: Police
Authorities said the Montgomery County man followed the student into her dorm room.

TRAPPE, PA β An Uber driver from Montgomery County raped a Villanova University student in her dorm room after driving her home from Philadelphia, authorities said.
Mirvan Dinler, 26, of Trappe, faces numerous charges including rape, sexual assault, indecent assault, and more.
The incident occurred back on Sept. 13.

The victim had several drinks on an empty stomach and was feeling sick when she called an Uber to take her back to her dorm at Villanova, police said.
After dropping her off, Dinler followed the woman into Hovanian Hall and all the way up to her room, according to authorities.

Once inside, Dinler forced the woman to perform oral sex on him and he used the victim's phone to send $150 to someone on Venmo, police said.
Dinler was booked in Delaware County and he remains behind bars on $250,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 17.
