Woman Killed In Violent Collision In Worcester: State Police
The 65-year-old woman's vehicle was struck by a pickup truck, authorities said.
WORCESTER, PA — A woman was killed in Worcester over the weekend after her vehicle was struck by a pickup truck, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The victim was identified as a 65-year-old woman from Ambler. Her name is being withheld by authorities as they are still notifying her family.
The incident occurred on Saturday, Feb. 22 just after noon at the three way intersection of PA 363, Valley Forge Road, and Woodlyn Avenue.

The Ambler's woman's Nissan "abruptly entered" the northbound lane of Valley Forge Road, where it was struck by the Ram pickup truck.
State police described the collision as severe.

The truck driver was not injured.
The victim was taken to Einstein Hospital by first responders, where she later was pronounced dead.
Pennsylvania state police are leading the investigation.
