CPR Training for Lower South Employees Start This Week

All township employees have been asked to complete a two hour CPR certification program.

Lower Southampton Township Manager John McMenamin has asked all township employees to participate in a two hour CPR training course that will give each staff member certification for the life-saving techniques.

Assistant Fire Marshal Nick Weaver has been leading two classes of 10 employees each day this week in the public meeting room at the township building. McMenamin expects the entire township staff to complete the course by the end of the week.

According to the American Heart Association, about 100,000 lives could be saved each year if CPR is administered early enough.
