Enjoy A Shamrock Pretzel This Weekend

Before you dive into ham and cabbage or Irish potatoes, A Taste of Philly invites guests to start their St. Patrick's Day weekend meals with a shamrock-shaped pretzel.

When owner Darren Ebner opened the pretzel shop eight years ago, he knew he would have to do something drastically different to standout in an area that loves soft pretzels. 

"The unusual designs are how we separate ourselves from the rest of the stores out there," said Ebner.

He also highlights the birthday party and bakery tour packages as a unique experience for his customers. For $13.95 per child, a 90-minute party includes a baking demo, story time, a chance to twist your own pretzel, baker's hats for each child, balloons, a pretzel hot dog or pretzel pizza and a baker's diploma.

The tours, at $8 per guest, has a baking demo, pretzel twisting, and a diploma.
