Troopers Charge Driver with DUI, Passenger with Public Drunkenness

The following arrest information was provided by state police from the Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

On Friday, Aug. 19 at 2:54 a.m.,  stopped a vehicle on I-95 northbound at milepost 41 in Middletown for speeding.

The driver, William A. Errico III, 32, of Holland, was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested for DUI.

Errico was given a blood test, processed and released. He faces charges in district court.

Police said the passenger, Lane E. Stocker, 31, of Newtown, became belligerent and disorderly while Errico was being investigated. She was also intoxicated and police determined her behavior was a danger to herself of others.

She was arrested at the scene for public drunkenness and issued a non-traffic citation.
