2 Found Dead In Delaware County Home Tuesday Morning: Police

PROSPECT PARK, PA — Two people were found dead in a Delaware County home Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

Prospect Park Borough Police Chief Dave Madonna on Facebook said a 911 call came in at about 10 a.m. for two possibly deceased people in a home on the 800 block of 10th Avenue.

Police, fire, and EMS crews at the home tried render aid, but both residents were found deceased.

Madonna said foul play is not suspected, but the exact cause of death is under investigation by the Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office.

"We are also looking to see if any factors inside the home may have led to the deaths," Madonna said. "It is important to note that the homes surrounding the residence, and the community in general, were never at risk of harm. If we believed that to be the case a community notification would have been made by our borough."

The decedents' identities have not been released.
