Three retail thefts occurred in the same Marple Township shopping center within days of each other, police say.

Three retail thefts occurred in the same Marple Township shopping center within days of each other, according to Marple Township Police.
Police responded to a report of a retail theft at Bath and Body Works at the 400 block of S. State Road on May 18, according to police.
Witnesses described the thief as a dark-skinned black woman with tattoos on both forearms, and she was wearing a black and gray tank top and gray leggings, according to police.
Witnesses told police the woman jumped into the back seat of black, Chevrolet Traverse with Pennsylvania tags, which was already occupied by two other women, and the fled the scene toward 5 Below store, according to police.
The stolen items were valued at about $350, according to police.
Employees at Carters Children’s Clothing also on the 400 block S. State Road, reported to police that two women left the store on May 19 with an undetermined amount of stolen merchandise, according to police.
The two women were seen concealing items under their jackets and also in a large purse, according to police, and the women left the store and got into a red Pontiac coupe with unknown Pennsylvania tags, according to police.
An Old Navy employee told police two women entered the store together on May 20, filled up a booster bag and then fled in a white SUV, according to police.
Both women were described to be in their 20s and believed to have been in the store before, according to police.
The stolen items were valued at about $300, according to police.
