3 Teens Taken In After Rash Of Delco Vehicle Break-Ins: Police

Three teenagers, one 15 and two 17, were taken into custody and charged in connection with thefts from vehicles in Delaware County.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Authorities in Delaware County said three teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with thefts from vehicles in at least two municipalities.

According to Lansdowne Police, the three teens, one 15 years old and two 17 years old, were taken into custody early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to Gladstone Towers just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, police said. Three members of the Lansdowne Police Department and one from the East Lansdowne Police Department were called to the area around that time.

There, they found the three teens and took them into custody without incident.

The 15 year old was remanded to the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Services Center on a previous warrant.

One of the 17 year olds was arrested on Friday night in a neighboring jurisdiction for another theft from a vehicle.

Police reminded residents in the region to lock their vehicles at night.
