7-Eleven Celebrates 84th Birthday With Free Slurpees

We gave you a few suggestions on ways to cool off this week with these cool and cost-saving treats, but how about a treat that's free to kick off this week? 

Monday is national free Slurpee day at every 7-Eleven in celebration of the chain's 84th birthday.

There is one 7-Eleven located in the Marple Newtown area on . An employee at the Broomall 7-Eleven confirmed with Patch that free Slurpees would be indeed given out all day on Monday.

Each customer receives one 7.11-ounce Slurpee at no cost. A total of 5 million drinks are expected to be given away in all, according to 7-Eleven.
