Life Skills to elementary school students with special needs

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Ms. Lindsay teaches students with special needs and goes above and beyond to ensure they learn and are loved in the classroom. She encourages acceptance by ensuring that her students are included with general education students, and as a result, her students are both welcomed as valued participants in the classroom and seen as friends out in the community. Seeing her brings an enormous smile to our son’s face, and we don’t know what we will do without her next year in middle school!
