I-476 Lane Open After Thursday Morning Vehicle Fire In Delco

Emergency personnel responded to a vehicle fire Thursday morning on Interstate 476 north in Delaware County.

The Broomall, Springfield, and Manoa fire companies responded to the incident, as well as Marple Township Ambulance Corps and Pennsylvania State Police.

BROOMALL, PA — Traffic is flowing normally again after a Thursday morning vehicle fire forced a lane restriction on Interstate 476 in Delaware County.

According to officials, a vehicle caught fire on I-476 north between mile marker 6.5 and 7 in Broomall.

Officials restricted a travel lane during the emergency response.
