Computers, iPad, Bible Stolen from Vehicles, Police Say
Also, a purse was stolen from the Marple Township library in a separate incident, police say.

Theft from Auto—unit block of Summit Avenue in Broomall at about 7:12 p.m. on April 19—A victim walked into police headquarters to report that his Dell laptop was stolen from his vehicle the night before, according to the report. One of the car doors was left unlocked, according to the report.

Theft—Marple Library 2500 block of Sproul Road at about 4:11 p.m. on April 19—A library volunteer told police that her purse was stolen from a public area of the library, according to the report. She had placed the purse on a public chair and covered it with a shirt and then left the area for a few minutes and when she returned the purse was gone and the shirt still on the chair, according to the report. Along with the purse, a wallet which contained numerous credit cards, $60 and two sets of keys were stolen, according to the report.
Theft from Auto—200 block of Laurel Lane in Broomall at about 10:26 a.m. on April 17—The victim told police that her Pontiac Grand Prix was parked in front of the residence overnight. She said when she went to leave in morning she noticed the vehicle had been entered because items were thrown on the seat, according to the report. A case containing a laptop, iPad, and assorted chargers and a Bible had been removed, according to the report. The vehicle may have been unlocked because there were no visible signs of forced entry, according to the report.
