Curbside Christmas Tree Collections Underway In Newtown Township
Newtown's public works crews are collecting trees at the curbside through Jan. 12. Trees can also be dropped off at the Public Works Yard.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township's Public Works crews are on a mission to collect Christmas trees set out for collection.
Collections are taking place now through Jan. 12.
Residents in Newtown can simply set out their Christmas trees (real trees only) without lights, decorations, tinsel, bags, and stands at the curb for collection.

Collected trees will be chipped, then used in public parks and along trails.
Trees can also be dropped off at the Public Works yard, located behind the Municipal Building at 209 Bishop Hollow Road.

The yard will be open for tree drop off 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday through Jan. 12.
