District Schools Performance Profiles to be Presented Tuesday

- Columbus Day is Monday
- Marple Newtown School District Curriculum, Instruction, & Technology Committee Meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 15. District Superintendent Dr. Merle Horowitz will present the School Performance Profiles of all MNSD schools in the Board Room of the District Administration Building.
- Newtown Township Board of Supervisors meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 15. Supervisors will vote to release the escrow/performance bond funds on four development projects; Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association (the final release), Liseter-Request 3, Muirwood-Request 3, Newtown Square Apartments (Terrazza II)-Request 3. - PRC Newtown Square Farmers Market at Mostardi Nursey on Wednesday
- Purchase the 2014 Free DVD/Videogame Rental Card on sale for $35 until Nov. 1 at Marple Library. Rent four FREE DVDS/videogames everytime you visit Marple Library in 2014 with this rental card. After Nov. 1, the card will cost $50.
- Newtown Township Zoning meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 17
- Live a Healthy Life Workshop from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Surrey in Media. The workshop for adults with diabetes, cardiac or pulmonary disease, arthritis, anxiety or any other ongoing health condition can learn how to communicate effectively with doctors and family, eat well, relax, manage pain and gain control of your life. The free 6-week workshop for adults age 60 and older who live in Delaware County will be offered every Wednesday through Oct. 30.
