Gable Park Walk and Fascinating Art Talk!

Walk With Us on April 4th!

Camaraderie, local history, and being outdoors! These are just three of the reasons people list when they talk about why they love walking with the Trails and Greenways Group.

The next Trails & Greenways Walk will be at Gable Park, alongside Newtown Public Library on Monday, April 4th, at 5:30 pm.

Join us for a walk and talk with Beth Dhunjisha, whose works are currently on display at the library.

We'll walk from the park to a trail behind the baseball field and connect to a bike lane that can ultimately take you to Drexel Lodge. (We won't have time for that leg of the walk due to darkness.) We'll return to the library by 6:30ish.

Then, we'll visit the library for a talk and light reception with our own tour guide and artist Beth Dhunjisha! Beth's photography exhibit is on display throughout April, and she'll offer her perspectives on macro-photography out in the nature we all love.

The Library will extend their hours for us! In return, please bring any books you would like to donate for the Friends of Newtown Public Library book sale in May.
