Gun Pulled During Delco Road Rage Incident, Driver Charged: Police

A Chester County man was arrested and charged after Pennsylvania State Police said he flashed a gun at another driver in Delaware County.

EDGMONT TOWNSHIP, PA — Pennsylvania State Police said a man was arrested and charged after he flashed a gun during a road rage incident in Delaware County recently.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 4:23 p.m. Jan. 24 on Middletown and Gradyville roads in Middletown Township.

Police were called to the area for a report of a road rage incident involving a firearm.

They later identified the suspect as Richard Shreiner, 51, of Spring City.

Authorities allege Shreiner pulled out a gun in an effort to intimidate the victim, a 36-year-old West Chester man.

Shreiner was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct, court records show.

He was released from custody on Jan. 27 after posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail and is scheduled for a Feb. 12 preliminary hearing, according to court documents.
