How To Dispose Of Christmas Trees In Newtown Township

Residents can either set their real Christmas trees, free of all decorations, at the curb, or drop them off at the public works yard.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Public Works Department is collecting Christmas over the next few weeks.

Real Christmas trees will be collected now through Jan. 17.

To have your tree collected, set it out at the curb with all bags, decorations, lights, and tinsel removed.

Public works crews will collect these trees.

The trees will be chipped, and the chips will be used in public parks and along trails.

Residents can also drop off their trees at the Public Works yard, located behind the municipal building 209 Bishop Hollow Road.

Trees can be dropped off Monday through Friday through Jan. 12 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
