DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The Philadelphia region Thursday saw a powerful storm front roll through the region, bringing lightning, thunder, and plenty of rain.
While Delaware County was spared from the more dangerous and damaging storm impacts, the county still got a substantial amount of rain.
According to data from the National Weather Service, Delaware County got between 1.05 inches of rain and 4.05 inches of rain Thursday.

- Boothwyn — 4.05 inches at 4:25 p.m. Thursday
- Upper Chichester — 2.02 inches at 2:15 a.m. Friday
- Thornton — 1.97 inches at 2:28 a.m. Friday
- Swarthmore — 1.90 inches at 2:30 a.m. Friday
- Chadds Ford — 1.62 inches at 2:30 a.m. Friday
- Aston — 1.54 inches at 2:29 a.m. Friday
- Wayne — 1.50 inches at 2:27 a.m. Friday
- Bryn Mawr 0.7 W — 1.47 inches at 1 a.m. Friday
- Villanova 0.9 SW — 1.37 inches at 7 a.m. Friday
- Media 3.1 WNW — 1.19 inches at 7 a.m. Friday
- Media — 1.17 inches at 2:30 a.m. Friday
- Saint Davids — 1.05 inches at 2:15 a.m. Friday
The National Weather Service shows Upper Chichester had the most rain in the five-county region, and Perkasie had the least amount of rain, with 1.03 inches.
