Lanes Closing On West Chester Pike In Newtown This Week

NEWTOWN TOWNSNHIP, PA — Crews are doing topsoil and seeding work along West Chester Pike in Newtown Township this week, PennDOT said.

The work is being done Wednesday and Friday this week,

Crews will be working from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days between Boot Road and Ellis Avenue.

Due to the work, a lane will close on West Chester Pike in both directions during those hours on both days.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
