Lily is a a 30-year-old, 3-pound, petite bunny with tiny ears and dainty paws. Some people say her coloring reminds them of a Siamese cat. Lily's fur is a mixture of soft shades of tan and brown. She has some spotted “highlights” on her back that are a pale buttery color and a cute little white spot on her nose.
Her foster dad says she's more like a puppy than a bunny. She likes to follow him around and gets very excited when he comes home from work and lets her out of her pen. She runs around his feet in circles and races around the room. She usually comes when he calls her, especially when he gives her greens and pellets.
Until Lily came into her foster home, she lived in a backyard hutch with limited human contact. She is friendly and curious. She likes people and loves it when people pet her. Lily also has excellent litter habits.

Although her foster parents adore her, they know if they keep Lily they wouldn't be able to foster other rabbits and there are many rabbits that need their help.
Please learn about proper rabbit care before deciding to adopt. Rabbits are not easy, low maintenance, “starter” pets. To learn more, check out the website www.rabbit.org and the book, Rabbits for Dummies, by Audrey Pavia. ACDC’s rabbit director can also provide you with a packet of rabbit care information. Amelia is available for adoption through the Animal Coalition of Delaware County. Visit www.acdc.ws or call 610-876-1479 for more information.
