Local Residents Named to Fall 2011 Dean's List

and residents were recently named on their college's Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Dean's List students must maintain at least a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4-point scale at some schools while others require students to maintain at least a 3.5 or above on a 4-point scale. All students must have also attempted at least 12 credits of course work.

Local students attending La Salle University, Elizabethtown College, Rosemont College, Loyola University Maryland, Miami University of Ohio, Juniata College, Washington University in St. Louis, and Fairfield University were recognized for their achievements.

Those students included:

• Jacquelyn Roebuck–A resident of Broomall, Roebuck is currently a senior at La Salle University studying education.
• Melanie Sarcinello–A resident of Newtown Square, Sarcinello is currently a senior at La Salle University studying nursing.
• Mohamed Fathali–A resident of Broomall, Fathali is currently a senior at La Salle University studying nursing.
• Elizabeth Donnon–A resident of Newtown Square, Donnon is currently a student at Elizabethtown College and was recognized for maintaining a grade point average of at least a 3.6.
• Maureen McHugh–A resident of Broomall, McHugh graduated with a bachelor of arts in psychology with Latin Honors in December of 2011 at Rosemont College.
• Nicholas Mooney–A resident of Broomall, Mooney is currently a senior at Loyola University Maryland.
• Brian Lojewski–A resident of Broomall, Lojewski is currently a sophomore at Loyola University Maryland.
• Brendan Fulmer–A resident of Broomall, Fulmer is currently a sophomore at Loyola University Maryland.
• Ali Karani–A resident of Broomall, Karani is currently a student at Miami University in southwester Ohio and was named to the President's List by maintaining a grade point average of a 4.0.
• Jin Hwan Lee–A resident of Broomall, Lee is currently a sophomore at Juniata College studying biology.
• Marc David Hendel–A resident of Broomall, Hendel is enrolled in the Watshington University's College of Arts & Sciences.
• Carolyn Burnett Swope–A resident of Newtown Square, Swope is enrolled in the Watshington University's College of Arts & Sciences.
• Michelle Onofrio–A resident of Newtown Square, Onofrio is currently a student at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT.
