Longtime Broomall Pizza Chef Passes At 64
Pete "Petey" DePrince worked as a cook for Thunderbird Pizza in Broomall for 17 years before his passing on Dec. 5.
BROOMALL, PA — A beloved cook at a beloved pizza shop in Broomall has passed away.
Longtime Thunderbird Pizza cook Pete "Petey" DePrince died on Dec. 5, according to his obituary.
He was 64.

Thunderbird took to social media to share news of DePrince's passing.
"He was a presence on any given shift and his dedication to our business was unquestioned," the business said on Facebook. "He made many friends through the business and sadly he has left us too soon. We are going to miss our dear friend and co-worker."

DePrince worked at Thunderbird for 17 years.
A West Philadelphia native, DePrince graduated from St. Thomas More High School and is survived by his wife Colleen as well as daughters Lauren Stevens and Ashley Miklosey, according to his obituary.
"Our condolences to the DePrince family," Thunderbird said.
A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, with a funeral service to follow 11:30 a.m. at the D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall. Interment will be private.
