Marple Hosts Electronic Waste Recycling Event
Residents can dispose their old electronics on Saturday in Broomall.

BROOMALL– and Haverford townships will be hosting their first electronics collection event on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Old Marple School location on Malin Road off of West Chester Pike/Rt. 3 in Broomall.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the townships, along with eForce Compliance–Philadelphia’s only R2 certified e-waste recycler, who is also sponsoring the event–will be collecting old electronics from only Marple and Haverford residents.
Residents may bring the following for disposal:

- Obsolete computers
- CRT monitors
- Cameras
- Cell phones
- Fax machines
- Scanners
- Printers
- TVs
- Computer mice
- Wires
- Keyboards
A small charge will be made for any TV or CRT monitors that will be collected.
eForce Compliance will provide residents with their services in properly disposing their old and used electronics. Electronics are often thrown in the trash by residents because there are simply few convenient drop-off locations available. eForce Compliance will allow residents to get rid of their household clutter while recycling responsibly.
