MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — A new list has ranked the top school district in Pennsylvania, and the Marple Newtown School District was in the top 100.
The Pittsburgh Business Times recently published its 2025 School Guide, ranking the state's districts based on scores from three years of PSSA and Keystone Exams standardized tests.
With those scores in mind, the Marple Newtown School District came at No. 74 on the list.

Unfortunately, that ranking is lower than the 2024 ranking.
In 2024, the district was No. 57.

The Marple Newtown School District was edged out by other Delaware County districts.
The Radnor Township School District was No. 4 on the list, Springfield School District No. 14, School District of Haverford Township No. 16, Wallingford-Swarthmore School District No. 17, and Rose Tree Media School District No. 24.
The top school on the list is Fox Chapel Area School District in Allegheny County.
