Held year each year on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out brings together residents, first responders and local organizations for an evening of fun, food, fellowship and festivities – all in the name of public safety and community engagement.
"National Night Out turns the clock back to the 1940s and 50s to a time when neighbors knew neighbors, routinely looked out for one another and everyone knew the cop on the beat," Peskin said "It's a great way for residents and first responders to connect with one another and take a stand against crime under positive circumstances."
