Please be advised that your names were submitted to the Police Department Honor Board, for consideration for your police action on May 31, 2012. Marple Township Police responded to a report of Criminal Mischief to a vehicle on Warren Blvd.

The victim reported that her car had been pelted with eggs and that two of the tires on the car were slashed. The area was checked but the actors were not located. During your investigation you were able to locate a T-shirt worn by one of the actors along with foot prints in the wet grass in the rear of one of the homes. You continued your investigation at the Wawa Food Market where you viewed video of the two suspects purchasing eggs earlier in the evening. Armed with all of this information you provided everything to Detective Williams for follow up. As a result of your actions Detective Williams had sufficient evidence to file charges against the suspects and arrange for full restitution.

Therefore, on recommendation of the Board, I take this opportunity to formally commend and congratulate you for your prompt, efficient work and sound judgment in support of the actions described here.

Your actions were within the best traditions of the police service.

Therefore, it is directed that this commendation, become a permanent part of your personnel service record with the Marple Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Police Department.
