1K-Plus PECO Customers In Marple, Newtown Still Without Power

MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — More than 1,000 PECO customers in Marple and Newtown townships are still without power Tuesday afternoon after Monday night's damaging storm.

According to PECO data, 608 customers in Marple and 442 in Newtown do not have power as of 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Each figure represents about 6 percent of PECO's customers in both municipalities.

Delaware County overall has 5,884 PECO customers without power, according to PECO.

There is no word on when power will be restored to Marple and Newtown PECO customers.
