New Pickleball Facility To Open This Year In Delaware County

BROOMALL, PA — A few months ago, news broke of a new, massive pickleball facility coming to Delaware County.

Now, Patch is here to tell local dinkers it won't be too much longer until they're on the courts vying for points.

The Picklr said its 42,073-square-foot, 16-court facility in Broomall is opening this fall.

Located at Broomall Commons, 2940 Springfield Road in Broomall, this Picklr location will offer professional-grade outdoor surfacing, onsite snacks and drinks, a private event space, and access to free leagues, tournaments, and clinics.

Additionally, players can also find apparel, equipment, and more in the pro shop.

Urban Edge owns Broomall Commons.

While there is no exact date set for the Broomall location's opening, players can learn more ahead of time online here.

For pickleball players champing at the bit, another location in the Whiteland Town Center, 201 W. Lincoln Highway in Exton, is opening this summer. But again, an exact opening date has not been announced.
