Delco Restaurant Among World's Best Spots For Wine, Magazine Says

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — If you're in the Philly suburbs and looking for a prime spot for wine, look no further than Teca Newtown Square.

The Italian restaurant, located at 191 S Newtown Street Road in Newtown Square, was named among the world’s best restaurants for wine by Wine Spectator, the world’s leading authority on wine.

Wine Spectator recently released its winners of the 2024 Restaurant Awards.

This year’s awards program recognizes 3,777 dining destinations from all 50 states in the U.S. and more than 75 countries internationally.

According to the publication, Teca Newtown Square's strengths are in wines from Bordeaux, France, Piedmont, Italy, and California

The restaurant has a $25 corkage fee, a nearly 500-wine selection, and an inventory of 15,000, Wine Spectator reports. Check out Teca's wine list online here.

General Manager J.C. Rizzo also serves as the house sommelier.
