The Newtown Square Fire Company Auxiliary said the unseasonably dry weather led to the difficult decision to cancel the annual fundraiser.
NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — The Newtown Square Fire Company Auxiliary's annual wreath fundraiser sale has been canceled.
The cancelation was announced Wednesday.
Officials cited the dry conditions as the impetus for canceling the annual fundraising sale.

"The current conditions just aren't ideal for maintaining the freshness of the wreaths, and we want to ensure that you always receive the best quality possible," the auxiliary said in its announcement. "We're grateful for your understanding and support, and we look forward to bringing this beloved tradition back next year with beautiful, vibrant wreaths for the holiday season."
