Newtown Square Fire Co Volunteer Dies At 62
Vincent "Vince" Mazzotta, 62, served the Newtown Square Fire Company for more than a decade before his death.
NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — A member of the Newtown Square Fire Company family has died.
The fire company announced the death of long-time volunteer Vincent "Vince" Mazzotta Tuesday. He was 62.
According to the fire company, Mazzotta had volunteered with them for the past 11 years after serving as a firefighter and EMT at the King of Prussia Fire Company and the Darby Fire Company #1.

The fire company said Mazzotta also brought administrative knowledge from his past first responder and federal government experience to Newtown Square.
"The Newtown Square Fire Company is thankful for the time that Vince dedicated to the Fire Company and our community both on the fire ground and behind the scenes," the fire company said. "We would like to thank his wife Eileen for sharing Vince with us and extend our most sincere condolences to Eileen and to Vince's in-laws and extended family."

A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike in Broomall.
A funeral mass will take place at 11 a.m. at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square.
Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
